Sustainable Aquaculture & Organic Farming
Mordecai Farms, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana, is an agribusiness that specializes in aquaculture (catfish farming) and organic vegetable cultivation, with a focus on greenhouse farming. Since beginning operations in February 2023, we have grown our team to 10 dedicated employees.
Our farm utilizes cutting-edge Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology and solar power, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly practices.
Environmental stewardship is at the core of what we do. Our focus on water efficiency, water quality, and wastewater treatment allows us to minimize our ecological footprint. In fact, we utilize the nutrient-rich effluent from our aquaculture system to nourish our greenhouse vegetables, further enhancing our sustainability efforts.
